Job summary

National Fitness Center, part of In-Shape Solutions, LLC d.b.a. In-Shape Family Fitness, is seeking an Instructor or Coach to lead group fitness and recreational sports programs, monitor member progress, and deliver safe, engaging workouts for all ages.

You may lead live or virtual classes and support a welcoming community. Requirements include HS diploma or GED, national certifications for paid programming, CPR within 60 days, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• National certifications (AFAA, ACE, NASM, ISSA) or format-specific training required to teach programming.
• Must complete internal trainings to teach paid programming.
• Current CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Motivate members to explore group fitness classes and programs.
• Deliver a motivating instructional experience with solid cuing and varied modifications.
• Demonstrate proper form and technique for safety and effectiveness.
• Engage members outside classes to build a sense of community.
• Maintain safety, assist with equipment usage, and participate in trainings.
