Job summary

VCV Digital, a venture studio, seeks a Director of Finance for Group Services to lead shared financial operations across the organization and its portfolio companies.

The role blends hands-on financial management with strategic leadership, building scalable processes, reporting, controls, and visibility across multiple entities while partnering with group leadership and portfolio executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, or comparable professional qualification strongly preferred.
• Approximately 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership.
• Experience managing finance across multiple entities, subsidiaries, portfolio companies, or business units.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Experience working within a holding company, venture studio, investment organization, private equity portfolio, or high-growth operating environment is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to international entities, intercompany accounting, and foreign-currency matters is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance operations and shared financial services across the group.
• Establish a group-wide framework for accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Partner with the CFO and executive leadership on financial planning, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.
• Provide clear financial insights regarding group performance, cash requirements, investments, and operating risks.
• Support the development of the group’s finance organization as its portfolio and operational complexity grow.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities.
• Manage consolidated financial reporting and ensure intercompany treatment.
• Produce management reports, variance analyses, and cash-flow forecasts.
