Job summary

VSP Vision seeks a senior finance leader to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for assigned lines of business, supporting strategy across domestic and international markets. This role ensures MAR and GAAP compliance, and partners with the executive team to deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual results.

You will drive internal controls, coordinate audits with internal/external teams, and help shape budgets and forecasts for strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience related to functional area; minimum of 6 years of management experience overseeing staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with executives, auditors, and vendors.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and MAR with ability to apply in complex reporting scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for assigned LOBs.
• Coordinate external and internal audits; ensure controls and regulatory compliance.
• Develop forecasts and budgets; support strategic business planning.
• Recommend changes in financial policies; drive continuous improvements.
• Coach and appraise direct reports; manage team performance and staffing.
