Monte Nido Casa Azul in South Miami, Florida, is seeking a part-time Group Facilitator for Day Treatment to support adults with eating disorders. The role provides direct patient support and therapeutic interventions, following Monte Nido’s philosophy.

Responsibilities include leading groups, modeling healthy eating, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a Bachelor’s in counseling or related field preferred, and at least two

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or similar field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant health-related field.
• Group therapy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe, therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Model therapeutic eating habits by eating meals with clients.
• Deliver curriculum to groups and enhance engagement.
• Run assigned groups independently and co-facilitate as needed.
• Document in daily reports and meal logs with timely updates.
• Attend staff meetings and treatment team activities.
