Job summary

Monte Nido Azul in South Miami, Florida, is seeking a Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary eating disorders treatment team. You will deliver individual, group, and family therapy to adults with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction in a day treatment setting.

The role includes coordinating with families and outpatient providers, liaising with insurance for pre-certification, and contributing to discharge and aftercare planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed
