Job summary

Monte Nido Walden Waltham seeks a Group Facilitator to support adults through day treatment programs for eating disorders. The role requires providing direct patient support, implementing therapeutic interventions, and delivering curriculum within a structured program.

The position is full-time with day and evening hours, Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges from $23 to $28 per hour, depending on education and experience, with comprehensive benefits and professional development

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or similar field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant health-related field.
• Group therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, comfortable environment and therapeutic milieu for patients.
• Model therapeutic eating habits with clients by eating provided meals and snacks aligned with the nutrition philosophy.
• Engage with patients in a way aligned with the therapeutic approach.
• Deliver curriculum to groups and communicate clearly, escalating situations as needed.
• Run assigned groups independently and co-facilitate as needed.
• Internalize feedback from manager and improve interactions with team and clients.
• Maintain professional presentation and ensure patient safety during the program day.
