Job summary

Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Manhattan in New York, NY seeks a Group Facilitator to lead clinical groups and support meal therapy within a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and individualized care for adults with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or related conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Experience treating eating disorders in residential or inpatient settings is helpful.
Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

Group Therapy & Milieu-Based Work: plan, structure, and facilitate clinical groups (CBT/DBT skills, coping strategies, relapse prevention).
Meal & Snack Support: supervise meals, provide calm support around food, follow meal protocols.
Daily Client Care Support: check-ins, skills coaching, brief interventions, meal support; participate in milieu support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
