Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time Group Facilitator for our Detox and Residential programs. You will lead group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and support clients in developing coping skills and recovery tools under clinical supervision.

Qualified candidates hold an Indiana clinical license or CADAC I-V, with at least one year in treatment preferred; sobriety if in recovery is required.

Qualifications

Indiana clinical license or CADAC I-V or equivalent is required.
Minimum one year experience in the treatment industry preferred.
Valid licensure to practice in Indiana is necessary.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety period is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct group therapy and psychoeducation sessions.
Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills and recovery tools.
Collaborate with clinical staff to monitor client progress.
Escalate significant concerns to the Clinical Director.
Maintain thorough documentation of group sessions.
Ensure all clinical assessments and charting are completed.

Now Hiring full-time Group Facilitators for our Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Indianapolis, IN.

What You'll Do

Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs
Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress
Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director
Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed

What We're Looking For

Current Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential (CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT)
Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
Strong presence and sound judgement
