Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne is seeking Group Facilitators to join our residential treatment team. The role focuses on leading group sessions that equip clients with coping skills and motivation for lasting recovery, while fostering a welcoming, supportive environment.

This full-time position runs 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, five days a week, including every other weekend. We welcome recent graduates and early-career professionals who bring energy, empathy, and a commitment to helping others on

Qualifications

• Indiana associate-level clinical licenses welcome (LMHCA, LMFTA, LACA).
• Additional clinical or addiction counseling credentials (CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, LMFT) are a plus.
• Experience in substance use treatment or behavioral health is helpful, but not required for otherwise qualified candidates.
• If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is required.

• Lead engaging, meaningful group sessions that help clients develop coping skills, build confidence, and work toward lasting recovery
• Create a welcoming, encouraging environment where clients feel heard, supported, and motivated
• Connect with clients and help them develop practical tools for everyday life
• Work closely with our clinical and behavioral health teams to support each client's recovery journey
• Recognize and communicate client needs or concerns to the appropriate team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group sessions and client progress

We're hiring Group Facilitators for our Fort Wayne location!
