Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center, a nationwide network of rehab centers, seeks a group facilitator for its Detox and Residential facility in Fort Collins, CO. You will conduct group therapy, support clients with coping skills, and collaborate with clinical staff to monitor progress.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a valid CAS licensure. A recovery-focused, compassionate presence helps model recovery principles for clients and families served by the program.

Qualifications

• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state - CAS.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgement.
• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress
• Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed

What You'll Do
