Job summary

Copa Health is seeking a passionate, full-time Group Facilitator to engage members in group settings and motivate them toward their treatment goals. You will facilitate connections, promote treatment, and deliver an evidence-based curriculum tailored to the group’s needs, while ensuring HIPAA and ethics compliance.

The role reports to the clinical team and collaborates across departments; a strong emphasis on documentation and participant engagement is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health preferred.
• Minimum one year of group facilitation experience.
• Experience with multicultural and low socioeconomic populations.
• Must obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• AZ driver’s license with 5 year MVR, proof of insurance and vehicle registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead group sessions ranging from 6 to 12 members using active listening and guiding communication.
• Complete regular check-ins with teams to maintain clear communication on participation or concerns.
• Track engagement levels, attendance, and feedback from members.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with leadership regarding group progress and updates.
• Accurately document group activities, attendance, and sessions daily.
• Maintain referral lists and discuss member interests for group participation.
• Work with clinical teams to ensure groups align with each member’s treatment plan.
• Develop and implement lesson plans in a group setting using evidence-based curricula.
