Qualifications

• Knowledge of designing, conducting, and implementing safe and effective group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of general health and wellness.
• Experience in health/fitness field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe, effective, fun exercise classes following guidelines.
• Communicate with members regarding the Group Exercise program.
• Provide modifications to meet the needs of all levels of participants.

Skills

Knowledge of designing and conducting group exercise classes

Knowledge of general health and wellness

Experience in health/fitness field

Education

High school diploma or GED

CPR/AED and First Aid certification

Certification in specialty group exercise format

National certification in group exercise required for some levels

TB clearance
