SAIC is seeking experienced certified Group Exercise instructors to lead group fitness classes. Instructors will inspire physical fitness for Intelligence Community Professionals at a customer site on Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Preferred candidate will have experience teaching a variety of fitness levels and formats such as BodyPump, Cycling, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates.

License/Certification (required):

• CPR Certification
• Nationally accredited certification required in personal training and/or group fitness. Acceptable certification include: National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council of Exercise (ACE), American FitnessAerobic Association (AFAA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA)

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class, which may include, but not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneeling.
• Ability to perform exercises specific to the assigned class.
• Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment for all in fitness classes.
• Attentively listens to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes.
• Cleans and organizes studio space before/after each Group Fitness class, record class metrics, and time worked.

Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
