The Group Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager at American Polymer Company leads safety and environmental systems across multiple production sites in TX and FL. • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5+ years of progressive EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment; plastics/polymers or precast concrete preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards, EPA regulations, and state/local codes.
• Hands-on understanding of polymer/concrete molding hazards and industrial equipment safety.
• Professional EHS certifications (CSP/ASP/CIH) are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and standardize EHS programs, policies, and management systems across APC facilities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and occupational safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
• Drive proactive safety culture across sites, including hazard mitigation, near-miss reporting, and safety observations.
• Lead hazard assessments, JSA, and risk mitigation for polymer and precast molding environments.
• Oversee incident investigations with root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Manage internal EHS audits and inspections to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Define, track, and report EHS metrics to executive leadership.
• Design and deliver core EHS training programs (Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, etc.).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on MOC processes for new equipment and facility changes.
• Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections and inquiries.
• Lead emergency response planning and safety team training across facilities.
• Partner with HR and workers’ compensation carriers on injury management and return-to-work.
