Job summary

Adobe Inc. is seeking a Group Design Manager, Systems, to lead the design system initiative. You will guide both design and creative-technology sides, establishing strategy, expanding a high-caliber team, and driving broad adoption across the organization.

You will partner with product management, engineering, and research to raise the quality bar and turn craft into scalable, reusable building blocks that accelerate product surfaces.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in design, including leading and growing teams, ideally in design systems.
• Able to translate designs into production-quality UI or reverse-engineer code to inform design.
• Strong front-end skills (TypeScript, React, CSS, animation) and a pixel-perfect quality bar.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design system strategy across design and creative technology.
• Lead and coach designers and engineers, expanding ownership and reducing bottlenecks.
• Oversee design-to-code workflow, ensuring tokens, components, and specs move cleanly into engineering.
