WHAT DOES A GROUP COPY SUPERVISOR DO?

The Group Copy Supervisor (GCS) is an active contributor to the creative team, taking full responsibilityofthe work, owning concept and copy development on various projects across the portfolio ranging in complexity and scope. The GCS has a proven ability to multitask and delegate asappropriate toensure seamless management of projects of varying types, while still contributing to idea generation. The GCS is a direct liaison between creative and senior account team members, focused on consistently delivering work that answers strategic, business, and creative expectations. The GCS possessesadvanced presentation skills and is often called upon to sell work externally. The GCS is also responsible forprovidingcareer-building guidance, mentorship, and support to the full copy team to foster growth and development.

  • Contribute actively to the creative team, taking full responsibility for concept and copy development on various projects.
  • Multitask and delegate asappropriate toensure seamless management of projects of varying types.
  • Generate ideas while managing multiple projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between creative and senior account team members, ensuring work meets strategic, business, and creative expectations.
  • Deliver advanced presentations and sell work externally.
  • Providecareer-building guidance, mentorship, and support to the full copy team to foster growth and development.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience required.
  • 8+ years of copywriting experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field required, including 5+ years of pharmaceutical advertising experience in an agency setting
  • Demonstrated success developing content and creative concepts for social media, digital marketing, and integrated omnichannel campaigns, with a strong understanding of channel-specific best practices and audience engagement strategies
  • Proven experience developing branded and unbranded direct-to-consumer (DTC) pharmaceutical content; healthcare professional (HCP) writing experience is a plus. Experience in pulmonology and/or allergy is preferred
  • Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate strategy into compelling social, digital, and customer-centric creative ideas
  • Portfolio showcasing social media and digital marketing work, as well as the ability to transform complex scientific and marketing information into compelling, patient-focused storytelling
  • Expertise in interpreting clinical and scientific data and developing medically accurate, strategically aligned content across digital channels
  • Experience leading complex projects and collaborating effectively across account, creative, strategy, and cross-functional teams
  • Confident client communicator with the ability to present and sell creative ideas, facilitate productive discussions, and build strong client relationships
