Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Fitness Specialist to lead engaging group fitness for older adults. This role emphasizes activity, health, and well-being without sales or quotas.

You will perform fitness assessments, prescribe exercise programs, educate on techniques, support Wellness initiatives, maintain a safe space, and build strong resident relationships to encourage lasting activity. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1 year related work experience minimum.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Experience evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fitness assessments which include vital signs.
• Prescribe an appropriate exercise program including flexibility, strength and cardio.
• Educate and evaluate members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assist with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Build strong relationships with residents and staff to encourage activity.

Compensation: $21-$26 hourly commensurate with experience
