Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Massachusetts is seeking a Fitness Specialist to lead engaging group fitness classes for residents. This role emphasizes activity, health, and well-being with no sales quotas.

You will assess residents, prescribe exercise plans including flexibility, strength, and cardio, educate on proper techniques, and help coordinate Wellness programs. On-site benefits include healthcare, PTO, and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Personal Training Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
• Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
• Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.
