Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a passionate Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at a corporate client site in Indianapolis, IN. Lead a Wednesday evening strength-based class and motivate participants to reach their fitness goals in a fun, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise in formats such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. Additional substitute teaching opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Certified group exercise instructor with current credentials from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, or NCCP/NCCA accredited programs.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from recognized organizations are required before start date.
• 2+ years of group exercise instruction experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for a passionate Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site in Indianapolis, IN .

Lead a Wednesday evening strength-based class (5:00–5:45 p.m. or 5:15–6:00 p.m.) and motivate participants to reach their fitness goals in a fun, supportive environment.

Additional substitute teaching opportunities are also available.

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $35 - $40/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
