Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Substitute Group Fitness Instructor for our San Angelo site. This on-call role provides engaging, safe group classes such as kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates and Zumba to members.

Ideal candidates hold a current group fitness certificate from ACE/AFAA/NASM/ACSM/NETA/NCCPT or comparable NCCA certification, plus CPR/AED and First Aid, and have 2+ years of experience; onboarding and timecard systems experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Group Fitness Instructor - San Angelo, TX

On-call / substitute, working on an as-needed basis

HealthFitness is looking for substitute Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in San Angelo, Texas. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as kickboxing, Yoga, Pilates and Zumba.

This is a position teaching on an as-needed basis.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

Compensation: $22 - $31/class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
