Job summary

HealthFitness in Westlake, TX seeks a flexible Group Class Instructor to support our community fitness center. You will lead engaging group sessions on an as-needed basis, delivering safe, fun workouts for members in dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp and circuit formats.

Required: current group exercise instructor certification (ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT or other NCCA certificate), CPR/AED and First Aid, and 2+ years of instruction experience. Onboarding and timecard systems are used.

Qualifications

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to support our community fitness center in Westlake, TX.This flexible substitute instructor role offers the opportunity to teach on an as-needed basis, stepping in when regular instructors are unavailable and helping create a positive, energetic experience for participants.Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.Minimum RequirementsCurrent group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.The compensation range for this role is $45 - $50/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
