Job summary

Protective is seeking a strategic Lead Associate in Group Benefits Product Management to lead the end-to-end lifecycle for Group Life, AD&D, Disability, and PFML. You will drive market entry, pricing collaboration, and go-to-market strategies while partnering with Legal, Compliance, Actuarial, and Underwriting to ensure compliant product filings.

In this role, you will mentor junior team members, oversee launches, and leverage data and AI insights to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in product management within insurance or employee benefits.
• Experience with Group Benefits (Life, AD&D, STD/LTD, PFML) and multi-state regulation.
• Proven ability to lead complex strategic initiatives across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for Group Life, AD&D, Disability, and PFML.
• Drive market entry, product enhancements, and go-to-market strategy.
• Coordinate filings, regulatory interpretation, and compliance with Legal.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance, and Technology.
• Mentor junior team members and represent Product in industry groups.
• Monitor profitability and provide data-driven performance insights.
