Job summary

Prime Electric is seeking a Group Anchor to support the project management team on-site. You will coordinate with executives, project managers, engineers, and field personnel to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and on schedule.

You will also serve as the conduit between the group and corporate departments, ensuring timely invoicing, AR activities, and proper documentation. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach to project

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking and organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Accounting background and substantiation documentation are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the Group Executive, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents and Field Personnel.
• Serve as primary liaison between the group and corporate departments (Job Cost and Accounting).
• Adhere to accounting calendars; manage invoicing and accounts receivable activities.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Field Management teams; take on additional tasks as requested.
• Assist Field Management with assigned tasks; support monthly substantiation reviews and audit processes.
• Maintain project management and administrative files; ensure organized records.
• Arrange and attend meetings; prepare agendas and distribute notes/reports.
• Monitor and facilitate reclassification of timecards for workforce management.
• Assist in job closeouts by coordinating with Purchasing and Warehouse; ensure timely completion.
• Compose, format and edit internal/external correspondence and proposals.
