The Saginaw Area Consortium is seeking a dedicated Maintenance/Custodial professional to manage grounds maintenance operations. Responsibilities include operating mowing equipment, performing snow and ice removal, and ensuring the cleanliness of school grounds.
Candidates should hold a high school diploma, possess a valid driver's license, and ideally have specialized training in grounds management. This role requires physical labor in various weather conditions and strong skills in maintenance methodologies.
Maintenance/Custodial/ Maintenance General
Physical labor associated with grounds management. Involved in all phases of landscape & grounds management including ornamental landscape, lawn, sports field, parking lot maintenance, snow/ice removal, equipment maintenance and repair, and all other tasks as assigned by management. Position will be expected to adjust schedules based on weather particularly during plow season to ensure proper snow removal and salt distribution for safe school/building access. Partner with management, athletic directors, and campus administration to ensure both a safe work environment and quality customer service for all aspects of grounds management. During off seasons, position will perform various tasks throughout the district including custodial coverage as needed.
The Facilities Department will operate in a professional and customer service minded manner in accordance with district standards.
