Saginaw Public Schools is seeking a Lead Custodian to direct custodial staff in daily operations, coaching and ensuring facilities meet district standards.
The role focuses on staff supervision, supply management, safety, and communication with administrators to address building needs. Strong custodial and maintenance knowledge is essential.
The Lead Custodian directs the custodial staff members in the daily operations in order to maintain the facilities in a clean and orderly condition in accordance to the district's standards. This position will be responsible for personnel coaching, monitoring of supply and equipment usage, maintaining a safe work environment and performing special project work. Lead custodian will communicate daily with building administrators to ensure building needs are addressed properly.
The Facilities Department will operate in a professional and customer service minded manner in accordance with district standards.

This is a lead position that will monitor and coordinate custodial staff and communicate directly with facilities supervisors and management to ensure custodial duties are maintained to the district standard.
