R. J. Corman Railroad Services in El Paso, TX is seeking a Groundsman/Laborer to join our rail operations team. The role focuses on safe work practices, PPE compliance, and effective communication with the crew.

You will assist with creating and managing reports, support division managers, and perform duties as assigned on railcars and in field environments.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Specialized Or Technical Knowledge, Or Education And Experience

• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk on uneven ground.
• Ability to climb on and off railcars.
• Lift up to 100 pounds maximum.
• Frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights over 25 feet on railroad cars and bridges.
• Ability to work over or in water.

Environmental Conditions

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Work in railroad and field environments.
• Exposure to elevated work areas, bridges, and water-related locations.
