Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, an Averill Hospitality Resort, is seeking a Groundsman to join our Guest Services Team through October. The Groundsman maintains outdoor areas to ensure a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include lawn and landscape maintenance, equipment operation, and assisting with outdoor events. This is a full-time, year-round position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to operate and safely use landscaping equipment.
• Commitment to safety procedures and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and outdoor guest spaces.
• Mow, trim, water, plant, and weed as needed; remove trash and debris.
• Operate landscaping tools safely and maintain equipment.
• Support seasonal property maintenance and outdoor projects.
• Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report issues.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of outdoor events and activities.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana’s AAAFour Diamond resorts, is seeking a Groundsman to join ourGuest Services Team through October. $16 – $17Hourly DOE.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
The Groundsman is responsible for maintaining the appearance, cleanliness, andoverall upkeep of outdoor property areas to ensure a safe, welcoming, andvisually appealing environment for guests and staff. This position supportsdaily grounds maintenance operations, seasonal landscaping, and generalexterior property care throughout the resort.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, parking areas, and outdoor guest spaces
• Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, watering, planting, and weed control -Remove trash, debris, snow, and ice from outdoor areas as needed -Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely
• Assist with seasonal property maintenance and outdoor projects
• Monitor grounds for safety hazards and report maintenance concerns-Support setup and breakdown of outdoor events and activities when required -Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance and storage areas -always Follow safety procedures and company standards
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and management teams.
