Joshua Tree Experts in Dallas is seeking a Groundsman to support safe, professional tree care operations in the field. This hands-on, entry-to-early-career role emphasizes learning the trade, working hard, and growing within a dedicated tree care team.

You will assist with equipment prep, help with pruning and removals, maintain safe work zones, and communicate professionally with customers on job sites. You’ll train, develop, and advance toward climber roles as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of tree care operations experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment and vehicle preparation
• Support pruning, removals, stump grinding, and cleanup
• Maintain safe drop zones and traffic control
• Operate chainsaws, pole saws, chippers, and related equipment
• Load and unload debris
• Follow direction from Crew Leaders and Climbers

• Work 40+ hours per week, including in adverse weather

We're building a reliable, safety-focused operation from the ground up, and Groundsmen are essential to how our crews function day to day. This is a hands‑on entry‑to‑early-career role for someone who wants to learn the trade, work hard, and grow within a professional tree care team.

About The Role

Groundsmen work alongside climbers and Crew Leaders assisting with tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, and cleanup. This role requires physical effort, attention to detail, and strong communication - including professional interaction with customers and the public on job sites.
