Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a Groundskeeper/Punch Technician to maintain the exterior and common areas of The Haven Apartments and Colony Woods Apartments. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and Technicians, keep grounds debris-free, and ensure walkways are clear.

This role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset; prior groundskeeping or maintenance experience is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Hisd are required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of groundskeeping or general maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Experience in apartment or property management preferred.
• Basic painting, landscaping, and maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of community grounds, breezeways, and amenities.
• Collect and dispose of daily trash and debris; clean and empty waste containers.
• Assist with turning vacant apartments, including light cleaning and removal of items.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as painting, light fixture replacement, and minor repairs.
• Operate blowers, pressure washers, and landscaping tools to maintain outdoor areas.
• Report safety concerns or repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Maintaining grounds and completing turns for 2 properties (The Haven Apartments & Colony Woods Apartments).
