River Mews Apartments in Newport News, VA seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain 645 units. Join Palms Associates, LLC on-site to keep grounds clean, safe, and welcoming for residents daily.

You’ll perform light landscaping and general upkeep, report safety concerns promptly, and work with maintenance and leasing teams to support a vibrant community. On-site role with opportunities for growth across the Southeast portfolio.

Formación

• Basic maintenance aptitude with light landscaping and repairs.
• Strong English communication; bilingual candidates encouraged.

• Punctual and reliable with consistent attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Daily trash pickup and property cleanliness.
• Maintaining pool, laundry, mail, and recreational areas.
• Keeping sidewalks, walkways, and parking areas free of debris.
• Cleaning and raking shrub areas; removing mud or snow as needed.
• Planting flowers and shrubs per direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assisting with fencing repairs, cleanup, and other physical tasks.
• Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Assisting the Maintenance team as needed.

Today we seek a Groundskeeper for our vibrant community of 645 apartments and townhomes, offering a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. As our Groundskeeper, you’ll help keep our community in top shape—clean, safe, and welcoming.

What We Are Looking For:

• Basic Maintenance Aptitude – Can handle light landscaping, small repairs, or assist with cleanup and setups.
• Team Player & Communication – Works well with maintenance and leasing teams.
• Attention to Detail – Keeps all areas (grounds, walkways) clean and safe.
• Reliability & Work Ethic – Shows up consistently and on time.

Technology & Communication Skills:

Basic computer skills required, including MS Office 365 and mobile device use. Strong English communication (verbal and written) required. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!

What You’ll Do:

As our Groundskeeper, you’ll help keep our community in top shape—clean, safe, and welcoming. Responsibilities include:
