Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Position Summary

Responsible for grounds/maintenance work executed in compliance with various standards and regulations. Work completed by self-skill level or procured contract services when necessary.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Carry out grounds/maintenance assignments as needed, either as repair or original work. Advise Grounds Supervisor of maintenance needs that exceed own skill level.
• Ensure grounds/maintenance work complies with standards and regulations such as The Joint Commission, DMH, DOL, OSHA, and local building codes.
• Meet regularly with Grounds Supervisor for supervision purposes.
• Ensure availability of necessary tools, equipment, and materials for grounds/maintenance work.
• Assist with groundskeeping at all Hamilton Center locations (e.g., snow removal, debris pickup, landscaping, planting flowers).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and safe operation and repair procedures.
• Basic appliance repair, arithmetic, English language, and communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for work.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with HCI policy.
