Greystar is hiring a Groundskeeper/Porter for La Terraza in San Jose. The role maintains grounds, amenities, and curb appeal, supporting the service team. Schedule is Thursday & Sunday, 8am–5pm, with no prior experience required. Requires a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

• Ability to perform physical tasks in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Inspect community daily to remove litter and ensure common areas are neat.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments and prepare for make-ready.
• Assist make-ready specialist during turnover process.
• Change locks and ensure pool area gates meet safety codes.
• Distribute notices to residents as needed.
• Report hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous resident service and respond to maintenance questions.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required OSHA training.
