Job summary

The Ascent Apartments seeks a Porter/Groundskeeper in San Antonio, TX to maintain cleanliness and appearance. You will support the maintenance team, manage trash areas, and ensure common spaces are welcoming for residents.

Responsibilities include keeping the property clean, picking up trash around buildings and parking areas, cleaning breezeways and stairwells, maintaining dumpsters, and reporting safety concerns to management. Light tasks may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents
