We’re hiring a Groundskeeper Porter at Cincinnati Deacon! As a Groundskeeper Porter, you will maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community, including grounds upkeep, cleaning common areas, and performing light maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents. Your role helps maintain the property’s value and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property cleanliness, grounds, trash removal, and common areas
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring appliances, windows, floors, and fixtures are in top condition
• Assist with property turnover and support high-demand periods
• Clean community spaces to create a welcoming environment
• Report maintenance issues and supply needs
• Perform minor maintenance, including replacing bulbs and fixtures
• Safeguard assets and follow safety guidelines
• Maintain pool and spa areas, if applicable, ensuring safety standards
• Adhere to policies and emergency procedures

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience, preferably in residential or related operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and innovative mindset
• Problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with technology and online systems
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to train

Compensation & Benefits
