Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $24.00/hr

STARTING RATE OF PAY IS $19 PER HOUR AND COULD INCREASE BASED ON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES.

This is NOT an entry-level position and requires at least 1 year of previous Landscape Porter, Property Porter, or Municipal Porter experience, as well as at least 1 full year of Landscaping & Snow Removal experience.

Other Minimum Requirements Of The Role

• Valid Driver's License: Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Chauffeur’s Endorsement: A chauffeur’s endorsement or chauffeur’s license is preferred.
• DDOT Medical card: preferred. Candidate already holds one. If not, must pass a medical exam including a drug test (Federal requirement).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the cleanliness and order of client grounds.
• Performing light landscaping tasks.
• Transporting trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Representing BrightView with professionalism and integrity.
• Assisting with snow removal when applicable.
• Walking the property regularly to remove litter.
• Cleaning and raking shrub areas; shoveling mud as needed.
• Using blowers to keep sidewalks and walkways clear.
• Driving to designated areas and collecting trash with grabbers.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License may be required.
