Job summary

Kukuiolono Park and Golf Course in Kalaheo, HI is seeking full-time and part-time Groundskeeper to join Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality management.

You will design and maintain landscape elements, operate greens/fairway mowers, manage irrigation, and apply pesticides and fertilizers, ensuring a pristine course environment. Dependability and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred.
• Must create spray programs for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping.
• Must operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
• Ability to give oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
• Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and heads as needed.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
• Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
