Job summary
Homestead Village, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Groundskeeper to join a compassionate community just outside downtown Lancaster. You will operate landscaping equipment, perform routine maintenance, and support residents’ independence in a CARF-CCAC accredited Life Plan Community.
The role runs 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with snow removal duties possibly requiring occasional weekends/holidays. Starting pay is $17.00/hour for those with less than one year of experience, based on years of
Qualifications
- Valid PA Driver's License in good standing.
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
- Honesty, dependability and safety awareness are essential.
- Ability to complete tasks with little supervision.
- Ability to take direction while handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment required for landscaping projects and mowing.
- Follow basic safety rules and procedures.
- Perform assignments according to schedules.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment to keep it in good working order.
- Be flexible and adapt to changing needs.
