Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Maintenance worker for the Maryland Charlotte Hall location. Responsibilities include lawn care, exterior maintenance, painting, and minor repairs. Position is full-time, first shift, with on-site duties at PH Veteran Services - Maryland.

Qualifications require a high school or vocational diploma and at least 2 years in general maintenance. The role involves operating lawn equipment and responding to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass on approximately 50 acres of Charlotte Hall Veterans Home using lawn mower, tractors and string trimmers.
• To clean all areas around the outside of the buildings.
• To help paint the exterior items and equipment around the Facility and grounds area.
• To perform minor maintenance repairs.
• Operate tractors for grass cutting and snow removal.
• Perform duties required to meet emergencies and special occasions such as fire, storms, power outages, water breaks.
• Responsible for knowing locations and general operation of critical equipment and systems.
• Must be able to work effectively and harmoniously with residents, visitors and co-workers.
