Responsibilities

• Cut grass on about 50 acres at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home using lawn mower, tractors and trimmers.
• Clean all exterior areas around the buildings.
• Assist with painting exterior items and equipment around the facility and grounds.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs.
• Operate tractors for grass cutting and snow removal.
• Respond to emergencies and special situations (fire, storms, power outages, water issues).
• Know locations and general operation of critical equipment and systems.
• Work effectively with residents, visitors and co-workers.
• Perform other related assignments as required.
