Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain a multi-family residential community in Washington. You’ll perform cleaning, grounds upkeep, and basic maintenance to ensure a safe, well-kept property for residents.

The role requires physical capability (lifting up to 65 lbs) and a valid driver’s license, with occasional travel to regional locations for work, training, and meetings. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 6 months of general custodial/maintenance experience.
• Beginning level understanding of grounds maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and cleaning equipment applicable to job requirements.
• Strong communication with coworkers, managers, vendors, or residents.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate a company or personal vehicle or electric cart.
• Ability to travel to regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other activities.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, and surrounding areas.
• Removes trash from grounds, offices, homes, and surroundings daily.
• Cleans interior and exterior areas with standard cleaning tools.
• May assist with snow removal where applicable.
• Assist in make-ready of vacant units (trash outs, touch-ups).
• Carry and remove abandoned furniture, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Assist with repairs, replacement, and installation of window/door screens and fixtures.
• Maintain storage and shop areas; assist Service Technicians as needed.
• May perform minor interior/exterior touch up painting/caulking.
• Clean AC vents, replace air filters, and smoke detectors.
• Report maintenance concerns to management.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and LMH policies.
• Travel to multiple locations for work as needed.
