Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to perform routine cleaning and maintenance across a multi-family residential community in Virginia Beach. The role includes operating tools and equipment, communicating effectively, and ensuring safety and high service standards.

You will assist in make-ready, support service technicians, and help maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas, with travel to regional locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 6 months of custodial/maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of grounds maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and common areas.
• Removes trash from grounds and surrounding community on a daily basis.
• Details interior and exterior areas using cleaning tools and equipment.
• Assists in make-ready of vacant units and minor repairs.
• Assists Service Technicians as needed and participates in safety practices.
• Operates company or personal vehicle to travel to locations for work purposes.
