Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a dependable Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, buildings, and amenities across multi-family communities. The role emphasizes cleaning, trash removal, make‑ready duties, and basic repairs to ensure quality living environments for military families.

You will operate cleaning tools and small equipment, communicate effectively with team members and residents, and assist service technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 6 months of general custodial/maintenance experience.
• Beginning level understanding of grounds maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and cleaning equipment applicable to job requirements.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with coworkers, managers, vendors or residents.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds, amenities, buildings and surrounding areas.
• Removes trash from grounds and surrounding community on a daily basis.
• Details interior and exterior areas with cleaning tools to keep entry areas and sidewalks clean.
• Assists in make ready units, including trash removal from vacant homes and touch up cleaning.
• Assists with repairs, replacement and installation of fixtures; helps with snow shoveling where applicable.
• Follows safety regulations and reports maintenance concerns to management.
