The GEO Group is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the facility’s exterior grounds, including digging holes, mowing, and trash removal. You will support planting, staking, and soil care, and assist with material handling and irrigation tasks.

Role emphasizes routine upkeep, basic carpentry and masonry tasks, and teamwork in a facility that values safety and efficiency. On-site position with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months related experience in janitorial or groundskeeping.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communicate with staff.
• Ability to perform basic math and use common software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor grounds: dig holes, mow grass, clean up trash.
• Planting and staking trees; attach/remove wires as needed.
• Move supplies with wheelbarrow; load/unload trucks.
• Water lawns and gardens; spread soil and fertilizer where required.
• Build garden borders; pour cement for borders; place decorative elements.
