Job summary

FirstService Residential in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of our building facilities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, with pay at $17 per hour.

You will cut grass, trim around trees and walkways, clear debris, maintain equipment, and follow safety procedures. Applicants should have a high school diploma preferred, experience with handheld tools, and good customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Must have experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower and others.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
