Job summary

TANDEM LIVING seeks a Groundskeeper for Woodcrest Villa in Lancaster, PA. This full-time, year-round role runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and includes on-call snow removal.

The Groundskeeper assists the Supervisor in maintaining grounds, shrubs, trees, and grass, following TANDEM LIVING values and regulations. Requirements include a PA driver’s license with two years of driving experience, minimum age 21, and preferred groundskeeping or nursery experience.

Qualifications

• Valid PA driver’s license with at least two years of driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate company vehicles.
• One to two years of groundskeeper or nursery work experience preferred but not required.
• Pesticide license preferred or must be obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Care for all TANDEM LIVING grounds including trimming trees and shrubs, flower beds, and mowing grass.
• Apply pesticides safely and effectively.
• Assist in snow and ice procedures and maintenance of equipment.
• Safely drive vehicles in various weather conditions and assist with equipment upkeep.

TheGroundskeeperassists the Supervisor of Grounds in maintaining the TANDEM LIVING grounds, shrubs, trees, and grass. This position is performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A valid PA driver’s license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience required.

• Must be at least 21 years of age to operate company vehicles.

One (1) to two (2) years of experience working as a groundskeeper or nursery worker preferred but not required .

Pesticide license preferred or must be obtained within one year.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Assists in caring for all TANDEM LIVING grounds including trimming trees and shrubs, maintaining flower beds, and mowing grass.

Properly applies pesticides.

Assists in implementing snow and ice procedures.

Safely drives a car, van, truck, or tractor in a variety of weather conditions. Provides assistance with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment related to grounds care.
