Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a Full-time Groundskeeper to maintain campus landscapes, facilities and grounds. You will perform planting, mowing, edging, mulching, trimming, pruning, spraying and routine clean-up per the department standards.

Responsibilities include equipment operation and maintenance, record-keeping, plant and turf health monitoring, and collaboration with team members to ensure safe, attractive grounds. Requires reading/writing English and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
• General knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscape plants used in the state.
• Skilled in use of common landscape equipment (weedeaters, hedge trimmers, edgers, hand mowers).
• Must read/write/speak English and comprehend conversations.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment usage and supply inventories.
• Performs planting, mowing, edging, mulching, trimming, pruning, blowing, watering and spraying tasks per schedule.
• Conducts daily trash and debris clean-up to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Treats weeds and vegetation in landscape beds using approved methods.
• Operates and maintains grounds equipment to ensure good working condition.
• Monitors plant and turf health and recommends improvements.
• Assists with landscape design and installation projects.
