The ideal candidate brings a Highschool Diploma or GED, a PA pesticide license or ability to obtain within six months, and a PA Class B CDL. CDL and forklift certification are valued assets; willingness to work in all weather is required.

Qualifications

• PA Commercial Pesticide Applicator License required or obtain within six months.
• PA Class B CDL is required.
• Forklift certification preferred or obtainable after hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains campus zones with mowing, fertilizing, irrigation, seeding, pruning, and debris removal.
• Monitors and empties trash/recycling, ensures clean pedestrian areas and safe surfaces.
• Performs pesticide applications and maintains related logbooks; attends trainings.
• Operates grounds equipment safely and performs routine maintenance.
• Assists in supervising student workers and trains staff in maintenance tasks.
• Assists with snow removal and responds to weather-related emergencies as needed.
