Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exterior spaces at our Midway community. You’ll contribute to a clean, welcoming environment and support onsite operations.

This entry-level role emphasizes outdoor work, attention to detail, and teamwork with the maintenance crew. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with potential on-call rotation for emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Understanding and knowledge of yardwork and general facility maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cleaning and pick-up of debris or trash in exterior areas.
• Maintain sidewalks, breezeways, parking lots, green spaces, and signage areas.
• Keep trash receptacles, compactor areas, and pet stations clean and debris-free.
• Assist with light landscaping tasks: raking, weeding, trimming, watering.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool deck, courtyards, and outdoor amenities.
• Assist with light painting, bulb replacement, and small exterior touch-ups.
• Support inventory with clean, organized shop and storage areas.
• Help prepare vacant apartments with light cleaning or debris removal.
• Distribute communications to residents and support seasonal tasks.
