UCI Health in Orange County seeks a Grounds Maintenance Worker to keep our campuses green and safe. Under supervision of the Senior Superintendent of Plant, you will mow, rake, edge lawns, trim bushes and trees, and clean up debris.

Responsibilities include maintaining tools, following instructions, and supporting a reliable, accessible campus environment. This role requires a California driver’s license and availability for after-hours shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of grounds maintenance or gardening experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Mows, rakes, edges lawns; trims bushes and trees.

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Superintendent of Plant, incumbent mows, rakes, and edges lawns, trims bushes and trees, and cleans up debris as required. Incumbent is also responsible for the care and maintenance of tools.

Required Qualifications

• One year of experience in grounds maintenance or gardening; or an equivalent combination of education and experience


• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license


• Must be available to work alternate work schedules and overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed


• Employment contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation. Position is subject to the California DMV's \"Pull Notice System\" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
