Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a flexible, per diem Groundskeeper to maintain campus grounds using various equipment and to keep sidewalks and parking areas clear during winter.

The role supports multiple trade areas, performs preventive maintenance, and ensures a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Typical hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with limited benefits; HS diploma required and at least 2 years' related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• Strong communication and computer literacy are required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal and operate heavy equipment for parking lots.
• Maintain a safe campus for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Provide manpower support to other trade areas as needed.
• Transport infectious waste and recycle materials.
• Inspect and maintain grounds and related equipment.
• Clean and prepare outdoor spaces for planting.
